We’re Official: The Campaign Is On!

Back in February, I pulled petitions to run for a seat on the Franklin School Board—becoming just the second person to take that step. And now, as of June 30th, I’m proud to share that my petition has been officially validated. I’m the first candidate in this race to have their signatures validated for the November ballot, and I couldn’t be more honored to move forward. All we're waiting on now is the official certification of my petition from the Warren County Board of Elections.
This moment means more to me than just meeting a deadline. It’s a commitment I made—and one I intend to keep. Earlier this year, I interviewed to fill a vacant seat on the board. During that process, I promised that if I wasn’t selected, I would still run. That promise wasn’t made lightly. It came from a deep belief that our community deserves leadership that listens, acts, and follows through.
When parents in our community asked me to run for Franklin School Board, I said yes—because I believe our schools deserve leadership that listens, includes, and acts. This campaign is about putting students first, supporting educators, and making sure every family’s voice is heard.
Collecting signatures wasn’t just a technical requirement—it was a meaningful process of connecting with neighbors, hearing what matters most to families, and sharing a vision for what our schools can be. Every name on that petition represents trust, and I carry that with me as we head into the heart of this campaign.
I’m in this to serve, to stand up for transparency, accountability, and trust—and to build schools where no student is left behind. Thank you to everyone who signed, supported, and encouraged me. We’ve cleared the first hurdle. Now the real work begins.
Let’s do this—together.
